It includes the ability to email PDFs, PNGs, and JPEGs, presets for receipts, documents, and more and the ability to save to the Photo Library.
  • Skitch
    Use shapes, arrows, sketches and text annotation to get your point across fast. Mark up photos, screenshots, maps, and webpages then share them with anyone you like. Skitch lets you annotate, add arrows, shapes and text to existing images. You can draw something new. You can edit images with reposition, recolor and remove your annotations at will.
  • Printmagic
    Print Magic is simple to use. Launch Print Magic and touch the printer icon to print. For convenience, Print Magic also allows you to select and print pictures from your Photos Library right from within the Print Magic application. You can pinch, zoom, and crop the images to set exactly what you want to print. Print Magic supports photo sizes 4x6 and up. Print Magic uses WiFi to print directly to many types of printers and any printer that can be shared from your Mac via Printer Sharing.
  • Socrative
    Socrative brings smart clickers to a whole new level. Engaged the entire class with educational exercises and games. Let the students see their classmates’ ideas in real time and interact with the responses. Students can provide you with instant feedback on the lessons and how well they understand the material. Ask your own poll questions for the entire class or use a pre-made activity. This can be very powerful tool for teachers.
  • Google Search
    This is the lastest Search app from Google and has been completely redesigned for the iPad. I like the Voice Search function which is excellent for some of your disabled students. Google Goggles is also a great function that allows you to search by image to find more information about what you are looking at. It also gives you quick access to other Google apps like Gmail, Calendar, Docs and more. Nice package all round.

Working with Dropbox

  • DropItToMe
    Password protected online application created to help you set up a process for transferring files using Dropbox. The password is known only by you and your counterpart whom you wish to send documents or files to.
  • Dropbox Forms
    A service hosted by Jotforms. It allows you to create online forms where people come, create documents or leave impressions, fill out form for you and then Dropbox Forms automatically synchronizes the content with your Dropbox account.
  • FileStork
    An easy and very secure way for Dropbox users around the world to request files from each other. All you have to do is to register, send a request and then the file will be uploaded to Dropbox and you have full access to the file.
  • ePubBooks
    ePubBooks is a marketplace where you can download eBooks and have them synchronised automatically to your Dropbox account.

  • Nearpod
    Nearpod enables teachers to use their iPads to manage content. It combines presentation, engagement and real-time assessment tools. Teacher iPad app allows sharing content and managing flow of the lecture. Students use the Nearpod Student app to receive curricular content, participate in activities and submit responses.
  • PuppetPals
    Create your own unique shows with animation and audio in real time! Simply pick out your actors and backdrops, drag them on to the stage, and tap record
  • Evernote
    Free app that helps you remember everything across all of the devices you use.
